Let’s be real for a second. There’s still this lingering, outdated idea in the enterprise world that Shopify is just for "mom and pop" shops or the brand that just launched on Instagram last week.

If you’re reading this, you probably know that isn’t true. We know it isn’t true. At Conspire, our apps power millions in revenue a day. It’s actually why we just launched Bonde - our own app for subscription loyalty, upsells, and bundles. We’re deeply invested in categories where replenishment matters, building the software and strategies that actually reduce churn and drive lifetime value rather than just talking about it.

But in 2026, we’re looking at a different kind of migration. We aren't just looking for volume; we’re looking for craft.

We want to work with the brands that treat their product like religion and their retail stores like temples. The brands where the physical experience is so curated, so quiet, and so confident that you lower your voice when you walk in.

The problem? Too often, their digital flagship feels… loud. Or clunky. Or it’s running on a legacy enterprise platform that requires a six-month roadmap just to change a landing page.

We want to take these five brands, move them to Shopify, and build digital experiences that finally match the quality of their product.

That and brands with subscription

Here is who is on our radar for 2026.

1. Le Labo

The Vibe: Process is the product.

The Current State: Translating "hand-blended" to a screen is failing.

I’ll start here because this one is personal. If I could, I would literally bathe in Santal. I’d light every room in my house with their candles. I love this brand.

Le Labo is interesting because their physical experience is visceral. You see the labels being typed; you smell the compounds; you feel the weight of the glass. It’s craftsmanship. Online, however, it’s hard to convey that nothing is mass-produced.

The Unlock: True Customization on Native Shopify. We don’t need a complex headless build here. We need a robust, native Shopify 2.0 implementation that leverages the platform's flexibility for customization. Imagine a product page that visually walks you through the compounding process as you scroll. Le Labo customers aren't impulse buyers; they are devotees. We’d use Shopify’s data layers to create a replenishment experience that knows exactly when your fragrance is running low.

2. Nespresso

The Vibe: Precision and ritual.

The Reality: A digital friction nightmare.

I use the Nespresso site all the time. I literally just ordered their Blue Bottle pods and the collaboration with The Weeknd. I know their mobile app is decent and their physical boutiques are incredible, but the website? It is honestly a pain in the butt to buy coffee.

The collections are tough to navigate and they don't visually explain what product works for you. But the real killer is the "Add to Cart" function. You have to select anywhere from 10 to 100 capsules, but only in increments of 10.

On mobile, it breaks constantly. I’ll try to add a sleeve to my cart from a collection page, and it just doesn't work. I have to click into the product page, add it there, and then—here’s the kicker—it kicks me back to the top of the collection page. I lose my spot. I have to scroll all the way down and repeat the process for the next flavor.

The Unlock: Shop Pay and UX Sanity. For a brand owned by Nestlé, the site feels dated. The checkout is clunky. Moving this to Shopify Plus and implementing Shop Pay would instantly increase conversion speed. We’d rebuild the collection pages so you can add-to-cart without losing your scroll position. Simple fixes, massive impact.

3. Aesop

The Vibe: Atmosphere-driven trust.

The Fit: Daily rituals require a seamless subscription engine.

Walk into an Aesop store anywhere in the world. What do you feel? Calm. Intentionality. The lighting is dim, the materials are natural. Now go to the website. It works, sure. But does it feel like the store? Not quite.

The Unlock: Atmosphere without the Tech Bloat. We aren't recommending headless here. In 2026, Shopify’s native liquid engine is powerful enough to handle this without the technical debt. We’d build a store focused entirely on UX clarity and calm merchandising. More importantly: Subscriptions. Aesop is a daily ritual. A "set it and forget it" replenishment cycle shouldn't feel transactional; it should feel like a service. We could build a subscription flow that feels as considered as their packaging—loyalty driven by ritual, not discount codes.

4. Malin+Goetz

The Vibe: Functional luxury without the theatrics.

The Fit: Urban, modern, quietly confident.

Malin+Goetz is the definition of "discipline." They don't do clutter. Their packaging is a masterclass in typography and negative space. This aligns perfectly with us. At Conspire, we want to come off as different and approachable, but refined.

The Unlock: Global Efficiency. Malin+Goetz is the kind of brand where Shopify’s ability to handle multi-currency, multi-language, and B2B wholesale in a single ecosystem would streamline their operations massively. We’d strip away the tech complexity and let the products speak for themselves.

5. Thorne

The Outlier: No physical stores.

The Vibe: Serious products for serious users.

Thorne is the exception on this list because they don't have the flagship retail stores. But that’s exactly why they need us. When you don’t have a physical store to build trust, your website is the clinic. Thorne is science-first. It’s trusted by athletes and practitioners. But for how much product they move, they could be doing so much better with their direct-to-consumer flagship.

The Unlock: Educational Commerce. Thorne has a complex catalog. We’d use Shopify to structure a UX that prioritizes education and segmentation. If a user is looking for creatine, they should see the science, not just a "Buy Now" button. We’d build flows that feel like a consultation, leading to high-frequency re-orders based on trust.

The Bottom Line

We aren't looking to just "build websites" for these brands. We want to build the last platform they’ll ever need to re-platform to.

If you’re at one of these brands-or a brand that thinks like them-and you’re tired of your e-commerce platform feeling like an anchor rather than an engine, let’s talk.

Conspire is a Shopify Plus partner agency known for Shopify website design and development, recognized by Shopify for working with the biggest brands in the ecosystem.
