We’re looking for a Client Strategist & Shopify Project Manager to lead projects and keep client work moving forward. This role sits at the center of our process - working directly with clients while coordinating with designers and developers to turn business goals into real website improvements.

You’ll help guide project direction, keep communication clear, and ensure the team has the information they need to execute work efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Lead Client Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

• Facilitate project calls and strategic discussions with brand stakeholders

• Clearly communicate progress, priorities, and recommendations

• Translate technical concepts into language clients understand

You’ll often act as the bridge between clients, designers, and engineers, ensuring everyone stays aligned.

Drive Project Execution

• Manage Shopify projects from planning through launch

• Maintain clear project documentation and task tracking

• Ensure projects stay organized and progress according to plan

• Provide designers and developers with structured requirements and context

• Monitor deliverables and follow internal project processes

Clarity and organization are critical. Well-documented projects help the team execute quickly and accurately.

Strategic Website Planning

• Help translate client goals into website structure and functionality

• Collaborate with designers on wireframes and page structure

• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and conversion performance

• Guide brands toward Shopify and eCommerce best practices

You don’t need to design or develop yourself, but you must understand how strategy translates into a functioning website.

Shopify Platform Support

• Assist clients with common Shopify questions and troubleshooting

• Navigate Shopify admin, apps, and platform workflows

• Identify when issues require developer involvement

This role often acts as the first line of support, helping solve problems before engineering resources are required.

What We’re Looking For

Shopify & eCommerce Experience

• 3+ years working with Shopify and eCommerce brands

• Strong understanding of Shopify apps, themes, and platform workflows

• Experience working with established or scaling eCommerce brands

• Comfortable navigating Shopify admin and helping clients solve common platform questions

Project Management

• Experience managing multiple website or Shopify projects simultaneously

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain structured documentation and project notes

• Comfortable ensuring projects stay on schedule and aligned with scope

Strategic Thinking

• Understanding of how websites drive revenue and customer experience

• Ability to translate brand goals into website strategy and functionality

• Familiarity with conversion optimization principles and UX best practices

Collaboration

• Experience coordinating work between designers, developers, and stakeholders

• Ability to communicate requirements clearly so work is executed correctly the first time

• Comfortable working with distributed or remote teams

Bonus Experience

• Experience working with large or complex Shopify stores

• Agency or consulting background working with multiple clients

• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals

• Experience managing Shopify Plus or high-traffic eCommerce brands
