Sto N Sho is an automotive accessories brand best known for its primary product – a custom quick-release front license plate bracket for modern muscle, performance, and luxury cars. The company needed a robust online store to showcase this unique product and serve both everyday consumers and authorized dealers. Overview

Conspire built the new Sto N Sho Shopify store on Shopify using a premium theme, then heavily customized it to fit the brand’s needs. The result is a fast, user-friendly storefront that makes it simple for shoppers to find the right bracket for their car and for dealers to place bulk orders. The migration to Shopify unlocked more flexible and scalable features, from rich visual merchandising to integrated apps, all while improving site reliability and SEO.

Wordpress Migration & SEO

A core part of this project was the migration from WordPress to Shopify. Sto N Sho’s previous website had basic information and shopping capabilities, but it lacked the scalability and ease-of-use that Shopify provides. Conspire managed a smooth transition of all content, pages, and product data to the new platform. We put a strong emphasis on SEO throughout the process: setting up 301 redirects from the old URLs to the new Shopify URLs, preserving meta titles and descriptions, and improving on-page SEO structures. As a result, Sto N Sho maintained its search engine rankings and even gained new traffic due to the improved site performance and content organization.

During migration, our team also implemented best practices to future-proof the site. Sto N Sho’s Shopify store now benefits from automatic updates, secure hosting, and the ability to tap into countless apps for extended functionality. The store admin can easily add new car models or products without needing a developer, and the Shopify dashboard provides better analytics to track sales across both consumer and wholesale segments.

Vehicle Part Finder Integration

One of the biggest challenges for this project was ensuring customers could quickly find the exact Sto N Sho bracket that fits their specific vehicle. With dozens of car makes and models supported – from the Chevy Camaro to the Porsche 911 – a vehicle part finder was an essential feature. Conspire implemented a user-friendly solution that allows shoppers to filter products by make, model, and year.

Instead of forcing customers to sift through all products, the site’s navigation includes an intuitive “Find Your Model” menu and collection structure. A visitor can select their car manufacturer and model series to see only the compatible bracket. For example, a customer with a Corvette can click Chevrolet → Corvette to instantly view Sto N Sho brackets made for that car. This part-finding functionality dramatically streamlines the shopping experience, reducing frustration and ensuring customers order the correct part for their vehicle. It was implemented seamlessly within Shopify’s architecture, leveraging smart collections and tags so that even non-technical store staff can manage vehicle-product mappings over time.

Wholesale B2B Portal

In addition to direct-to-consumer sales, Sto N Sho wanted to support their network of dealerships and specialty shops with a wholesale channel on the same website. Conspire set up a secure B2B portal using a Shopify-supported wholesale application. Wholesale customers can apply for an account via an online form; once approved by the Sto N Sho team, these B2B users can log in to unlock special pricing and bulk order capabilities.

The wholesale section of the site is designed to feel integrated with the brand (not a separate site), yet it provides a tailored experience for dealers. For instance, when an authorized wholesale user is logged in, product pages automatically display discounted trade pricing and allow larger quantity selections. If a visitor without a wholesale login tries to add bulk quantities, they are prompted to “Start a Wholesale Application” - guiding potential dealers into the signup flow. This approach makes it easy for Sto N Sho to grow its wholesale business without maintaining a separate platform. All orders, whether retail or wholesale, flow through the same Shopify backend for unified inventory and fulfillment management.

Design & Product Illustrations

From the outset, Conspire focused on creating a clean, high-impact design that put Sto N Sho’s product front and center. We started with a polished Shopify theme as the foundation, then tailored it to reflect the brand’s rugged yet modern identity. Custom illustrations and graphics were developed to help visualize how the Sto N Sho bracket works – for example, showing how the bracket attaches with no visible holes in the bumper, and how the plate can be mounted or removed in seconds. These visuals, alongside bold photography of sports cars, ensure that customers immediately understand the value of the product. The design balances technical information with an engaging aesthetic, using clear icons and imagery to communicate features like the bracket’s all-aluminum construction and quick-release mechanism.

Our team also paid special attention to mobile responsiveness and site speed. Since many car enthusiasts would be visiting on mobile devices (perhaps even at car meets or dealerships), the Shopify theme was optimized for fast load times and easy navigation on smaller screens. The end result is a sleek interface that appeals to Sto N Sho’s target audience and builds trust through professional design quality.

Store Locator Integration

Even with a thriving online store, Sto N Sho recognizes that car enthusiasts often like to shop locally or see a product in person. To support this, Conspire integrated a store locator into the Shopify site using the platform’s app ecosystem. Through a simple ZIP code search or auto-detection, customers can find nearby physical retailers that carry Sto N Sho products. The store locator leverages an interactive map and location listings, making it easy for users to get directions or contact their local shop.

Setting up the locator via a Shopify app allowed for a quick deployment with minimal custom code, while still matching the site’s look and feel. We customized the styling so that map pins and results use the brand’s colors and icons. This feature not only adds convenience for customers, but also strengthens Sto N Sho’s relationships with distributors by sending online traffic into brick-and-mortar partner stores. It’s a great example of blending D2C eCommerce with traditional retail support.

Outcome

The new Sto N Sho Shopify site has transformed the brand’s online presence. It combines an informative shopping experience for car owners with a streamlined ordering system for wholesale partners - all in one cohesive website. By leveraging Shopify’s strengths and Conspire’s full-service approach (strategy, design, development, and SEO), Sto N Sho now has a modern eCommerce foundation that can scale with their growth.

Key results include a more intuitive customer journey (thanks to features like the part finder and store locator), improved conversion rates from a faster and more mobile-friendly site, and increased operational efficiency by consolidating platforms.
